Mad Practice: Sanity Skills for Crazy Times
This mental health meet-up on Saturday, May 15 2021 with JD Derbyshire is a chance to connect with your community and develop skills for coping with uncertainty. JD will share their knowledge and facilitate discussion, and you can participate at your own comfort level—camera on or off, using text chat or your voice, taking a break whenever you need. Chimo Community Services is a Richmond-based organization that supports people facing injustice, violence and crisis. Explore their resources including parent education workshops and counselling services offered in English, Mandarin, Spanish, Italian, French and Portuguese.

QMUNITY
QMUNITY is a non-profit organization based in Vancouver that works to improve queer, trans, and Two-Spirit lives. They currently offer ten sessions of free and reduced-cost health and wellness counselling for individuals, couples, relationships, and families via phone and video. All of their counsellors are members of LGBTQ2S+ communities.

Community Mental Wellness Association of Canada
A grassroots organization originally founded in Richmond, the Community Mental Wellness Association of Canada provides counselling services and education in multiple languages. Their community support program, Heart to Heart, provides a safe online space for people with mental health questions and concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic. Each session focuses on a different mental health topic with a team of professionals to offer help, share guidance, and answer queries from attendees.
